Completely rebuilt septic system (2004) and raised tank access from three feed below ground to ground level. (Work was done by Steve Scales Construction Co., which is located just up the street and whose brother installed original system.)Completely rebuilt the patio area with new insulated windows (were just screens), finished and insulated the walls, installed deck flooring over concrete, and added modern trim. Installed new high-end Pella storm doors at the main entry and patio entry. Built a new 12' X 16' shed with four windows and overhead storage. The floor in the shed is risen impregnated for a long life. There is decking in place at both sides of the shed. Taxes, when purchased, were less than $2K per year and now are about $6K per year, which shows a three-fold inflation rate not reflected in the asking price. main floor bathrooms have been upgraded with new larger and more efficient toilets, new one-piece sinks, new faucets, and modern vanities. In addition, the wall treatments in both bathrooms have been renewed. the walls and floors in both upstairs bathrooms are constructed of expanded steel lath and concrete. Other walls through the house are made with 5/8 inch thick commercial wallboard, not the usual 1/2 inch thick wallboard used in most homes
